Trying to stretch scarce resources? The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are partnering on a webinar to discuss several grant programs, including State Wetland Program Development Grants, Lake Protection Grants, River Protection Grants and Floodplain Management Grants. Information will be provided on the grants' purpose, criteria, application deadlines and examples of opportunities to leverage resources that meet multiple objectives. R.A. Smith National Provides Surveying Services Pro Bono for Junior Hilltoppers Youth Football Program

R.A. Smith National  — a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm — Brookfield, Wis., is providing restaking services pro bono for Junior Hilltoppers’ youth football program in Milwaukee County.

In 2009 R.A. Smith National provided surveying and field layout services for the installation of fields at Dretzka Park (home field) and Brown Deer and Greenfield Parks (practice fields). Every year since, R.A. Smith National has perpetuated the exact location, size and orientation of the practice fields in preparation for the new paint markings to replace those lost during ground maintenance. 

Junior Hilltoppers Sports Clubs, Inc., an independent non-profit organization affiliated with Marquette University High School, coordinates the youth football program for fifth through eighth grade students.
