Luke Haas Joins R.A. Smith National as Landscape Architect

Luke Haas has joined R.A. Smith National – a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm – Brookfield, Wis., as a landscape architect.  

Haas has completed landscape design and site planning projects for residential and commercial developments, lifestyle centers, courtyards/plazas and community parks. He has worked on projects throughout Wisconsin including Millennium Park Lifestyle Center in Bellevue; Coonen Neighborhood Park in Combined Locks; Falk Corporation Memorial in Milwaukee; Falls Distribution Center in Menomonee Falls; Prairie Lakes Development in Sun Prairie; and numerous residential projects. 

Haas holds a bachelor of science in landscape architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a registered landscape architect in the state of Wisconsin. He will be collaborating with other landscape architects, civil engineers, ecologists and 3D visualization specialists at R.A. Smith National.

Haas currently resides in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.  

Chapman Presents at the 2014 American Society of Landscape Architects’ Conference

Tom Mortensen, landscape architect, and Jon Chapman, 3D laser scanning manager, will be attending the 2014 WI ASLA Conference. Chapman will also be presenting Integrating 3D Technology into Landscape Architecture at the event. 

WI ASLA is the professional association for landscape architects in Wisconsin. WI ASLA works to increase the public’s awareness of, and appreciation for, the profession of landscape architecture and its contributions to quality of life. The 2014 conference, titled Planting for the Future, will highlight topics such as native plantings, sustainability and environmental ethics.
