The International Erosion Control Association hosts the Environmental Connection Conference, which is the world’s largest soil and water event. This four-day event provides education in erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, surface water restoration and MS4 management in full day and half day training sessions.

Wisconsin Wetlands Association Conference

R.A. Smith National’s Heather Patti, PWS, ecologist, will present the results of a two-year field study of the effects of two different herbicides on the invasive Glyceria maxima (reed manna grass) at the Wisconsin Wetlands Association conference in Sheboygan, Wis., February 12-14, 2013. The study was completed along the Pike River in Racine, Wisconsin, by Heather Patti and colleague Alice Thompson of Thompson & Associates Wetland Services.
