Marquette Students & Alumni Attend Breakfast with the Professionals Event

by Jessica Pairrett 7. March 2016 06:54

Marquette University engineering alumni and current students gathered recently for the annual Breakfast with the Professionals. Sponsored by the university’s Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Student Chapter, the breakfast is an excellent networking opportunity that connects current Marquette students with engineering professionals.

At the breakfast, students had the opportunity to meet with potential employers. Also, through conversations with the engineering pros, students gained insight into school and work experiences. This enjoyable event also included a presentation from a professional, who covered topics such as education and career path, professional work experience and advice for success.

Several Marquette University alumni from R.A. Smith National attended this year’s breakfast, including Mike Kren (structural engineering division), Pat Hawley, Justin Schueler and Andy Axt (all from transportation engineering division). The 2016 annual event was held at Marquette’s Alumni Memorial Union on February 25, 2016. Click here to view photos of the event.
