Chris Weinreis, surveyor, of R.A. Smith National – a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm – Brookfield, Wis., has obtained his Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) license in the State of Wisconsin.

Weinreis has three years of surveying experience in both the public and private sectors. He has both field and office experience in areas that include CAD, surveying and computation. Chris has performed field surveying as a crew member for boundary, ALTA/ACSM Land Title and topographic surveys.

Weinreis has a bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering from Michigan Technology University in Houghton, Michigan. He is a resident of West Allis, Wisconsin.

R.A. Smith National — civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, geographic information systems (GIS), visualization and 3D laser scanning consultants — Tarentum (Pittsburgh), Pa.,  has added David Smith as survey crew chief in the Pittsburgh office.

Smith has more than 17 years of surveying experience. His projects have included highway and bridge surveys, construction surveys, boundary surveys and survey site plans. Smith currently resides in Upper Burrell, Pa.
