BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Andrew Zwieg, civil engineer in the transportation division of R.A. Smith National – a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm – Brookfield, Wis., has obtained his Wisconsin professional engineer registration.
Zwieg has six years of experience in transportation and site development design, construction services and surveying. He has prepared plans for a variety of projects including highways, commercial/retail and residential developments. His design experience includes horizontal and vertical alignments, intersections, parking lots, utilities, earthwork, drainage, storm water management, erosion control, signing, pavement marking, traffic control/staging and detour plans.
Zwieg’s recent project experience includes providing design services for a 4-mile new construction on the STH 26 Watertown Bypass in Jefferson and Dodge Counties; the 5-mile reconstruction of the STH 26 Fort Atkinson Bypass in Jefferson County; the 0.5-mile reconstruction of CTH T in Marinette County; and the 8.5-mile resurfacing and reconstruction of STH 144 in Washington County.
Zwieg has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin Platteville. He is a resident of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
