R.A. Smith National hosted the Third Annual Sustainable Brookfield Business Day on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at their corporate headquarters in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The event was put together by the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce with support from the Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation (WCEDC) and the City and Town of Brookfield.
Several companies submitted applications for recognition at this year's event based on various sustainable business practices in which they have engaged. R.A. Smith National was recognized at last year's event for the installation of a wind turbine and an 84-panel solar array on the roof of their corporate headquarters, among other energy-saving initiatives.

R.A. Smith National's Kyle Belott, GISP will attend the annual conference for the Esri Wisconsin User Group (EWUG) this week in Appleton, Wisconsin. The statewide group will discuss a variety of ESRI software-related topics, including what's new with ArcGIS, ArcMap, mobile GIS application development and more.
