BROOKFIELD, Wis. — R.A. Smith National – a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm – Brookfield, Wis., has added Paul Schafer as construction division group manager.
Schafer has 11 years of construction management experience in local roads, utilities, subdivisions, and water and wastewater facilities. At R.A. Smith National, Schafer will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing both municipal and private construction projects, as well as managing and scheduling staff members for various construction developments.
Prior to joining R.A. Smith National, Schafer worked at a consulting engineering firm for 11 years as a construction service manager and associate.
Schafer has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. He lives in Elkhorn, Wis.
