Village of Greendale (Wisconsin) Flood Control Project

The village of Greendale recently installed dual 4’ x 10’ box culverts near the intersection of W. College Avenue and S. 60th Street. The culverts provide improved flood protection to a significant residential area. R.A. Smith National, Greendale’s village engineer, designed the flood control improvements and provided construction services. C.W. Purpero is the project contractor.

What We're Working On

R.A. Smith National is providing 3D laser scanning for the replacement of this historic bridge which spans a portion of the Wisconsin River. The structure is comprised of two, 75-foot spans and includes decorative railing and lighting. R.A. Smith National laser scanned the entire bridge and created a full-color, registered point cloud deliverable that will be used by Olson & Nesvold Engineers to design the replacement bridge. [ more ]
