Anthony Simelis has joined the Tarentum (Pittsburgh) office of R.A. Smith National — civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, geographic information systems (GIS) and 3D visualization consultants — as a civil engineer. His responsibilities include storm water management planning and design, erosion and sediment control planning and design, and general permitting support for various land development projects.
Simelis has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from Point Park University, Pittsburgh, Pa. Simelis is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Simelis also holds an associate’s degree in chemical laboratory technician and has a strong background and understanding of material science. Prior to joining R.A. Smith National, he was employed as a quality control analyst and chemical laboratory technician at Neville Chemical Company in Pittsburgh.
Simelis lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
