R.A. Smith National’s Stephan Hoffmann Has Been Elected to ITE Board

Stephan Hoffmann, of R.A. Smith National — civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, geographic information systems (GIS), visualization and 3D laser scanning consultants — has been elected to a one-year term as the 2013 member director for the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Wisconsin Section.

As member director, Hoffmann’s responsibilities will include editing the quarterly ITE Wisconsin Section newsletter and participation in the executive board meetings. He also serves as the chairman of the ITE Wisconsin Section Martin Bruening Award. This award program recognizes exceptional work of transportation engineering students and professionals.

Hoffmann is a transportation project manager with more than 18 years of project management and design experience and is a registered professional engineer (P.E.) in the state of Wisconsin. His experience includes rural and urban roadway reconstruction and rehabilitation, drainage analysis, utility coordination, environmental documentation, traffic studies and noise barrier design.
