R.A. Smith & Associates, Inc. and its National Survey & Engineering Division (now R.A. Smith National) is Named Best Place to Work in Southeastern Wisconsin
 BROOKFIELD, WIS. – R.A. Smith & Associates and its National Survey & Engineering Division (now R.A. Smith National, effective March 17, 2008) — civil engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, GIS and 3D visualization consultants — Brookfield, Wis., has been named among the "Best Places to Work in Southeastern Wisconsin 2008” by Milwaukee Magazine and MRA - The Management Association.
R.A. Smith National ranked No. 11 among medium-size companies, those employing between 101 and 499 employees, and was further recognized in the category of “engaged employees,” recognizing the firm’s ability to keep employees committed to their work.
R.A. Smith National won the same award in 2001, 2003 and 2005. Richard Smith, president and owner, said, “We are honored that R.A. Smith National has once again been named to the prestigious list of Best Places to Work in Southeastern Wisconsin. We are pleased to be recognized as we celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2008. To be named to this exclusive list, firms were required to fill out an extensive online survey. Randomly selected employees from companies that made the semi-finalist list were asked to fill out an anonymous and confidential survey.
An awards ceremony will take place on April 24.
