Sustainable Design/LEED®
Water – how it is viewed and handled – is critical to sustainable site design. It underpins our view that the earth is indeed blue not green. Through an approach of practical environmental sensitivity, R.A. Smith National demonstrates what is possible through well-considered, experienced-based design for infrastructure and development. Our staff works closely with clients who are interested in obtaining the LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification that has been put in place by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to recognize sustainable developments.
