CTH P/PV (Pleasant Valley Road)
Jackson, Wisconsin
R.A. Smith National, Brookfield, Wisconsin, was retained by Washington County in 2006 to study the County Highway P/PV (Pleasant Valley Road) intersection in Jackson, Wisconsin, and recommend an appropriate design solution. A single-lane roundabout was selected as the preferred design. The roundabout was open to traffic on June 15, 2009. The roundabout will improve safety and enhance traffic flow at the intersection which is expected to accommodate more than 15,000 vehicles per day by the year 2028.
